The purpose of Relief Society is to help prepare women for the blessings of eternal life as they increase faith in Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and His Atonement. To strengthen individuals, families, and homes through ordinances and covenants. To work in unity to help those in need.

This blog was created for the Woodland Hills Ward Relief Society sisters. It's purpose is to share information, unite and help each sister grow closer to Jesus Christ. This is not an official site of the LDS Church, and the opinions and statements are not representative of the church as a whole.

Summer Park & Pool Play Dates

Everyone one is welcome (even if you don't have kids or you have kids that are grown) to come to the Summer Play Dates :

Park Day every Tuesday 2:30 Splash Pad at De Anza Park (on the corner of Lost Hills and Las Virgenes in Calabasas).

Pool Day every Thursday at 2:30 at the main pool at Malibu Canyon Apartments. Call Whitney Capelo if you have any questions or need directions.

Tiffany-Ann Raichart's Baby Shower

Beach Day with Tarzana Ward

The Tarzana Ward has invited us to their Beach Day, 7/20 at 11am. Zuma Beach at lifeguard station 12.

50th Anniversary of the Stake & Pioneer Day Celebration

Saturday 7/23 from 5-8pm

50th Canoga Park Anniversary and Pioneer Day Celebration at the Woodland Hills Ward Building. Hand cart rides, costume parade, chili cook-off, cake and pie competition, live music, games and much more!

Building Cleaning

We need 2 or 3 sisters to sign-up for Building Cleaning for July 23rd in preparation for the Pioneer Celebration and 50th Anniversary for the Stake. If you are able to sign-up please email Lisa Bell at lisamarinagarcia@gmail.com

We have "sign-ups" available to bring the Barragan dinners the next two weeks, after they have welcomed their new baby. If you are interested please contact Shirley Maney.

Anyone making masks can contact Britton Gordon who is collecting masks for those that need them in the ward. Anyone who needs a mask can contact any of us in the Relief Society and we will get some to you.
